Paul Finn grew up in Leonardo, NJ and had a small part in the indie phenomenon "Clerks" and shortly thereafter attended Film Video Arts in NYC before producing the feature film "A Better Place." He directed music videos for Lizard Music and Silver Jews before deciding to focus fully on music after joining Chapel Hill's The Kingsbury Manx. More recently, he has focused on composing film scores. His latest work is the score and soundtrack for the 2024 short film "100 Proof Warlock."

He also has 30 years of experience in touring and recording bands for Yep Roc, Overcoat, and Odessa Records, to name a few. He has produced records for many artists over the years, including Evening Pines, Defective Lingerie, Impossible Arms, Americans in France and co-produced records with Open Field, The Kingsbury Manx, Premperd, Horshack 77, Movere Workshop, and C. Albert Blomquist.
